Helping your patients better understand nerve pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) and postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) may enable them to better understand the importance of blood glucose management, cope with their symptoms, and increase compliance with therapeutic regimens. These patient education handouts have been developed to assist you in educating your patients. Patients who have been diagnosed with DPN or PHN and want more information may benefit from the support materials.
